Melbourne

So yes I have partaken on my first touristy event of the trip and took a day trip to Melbourne. It took 3 hours to get there and 3 hours to get back (and I was only there 6 hours) but you can hardly come all this way and not take a trip into the big city, so I did it.

I can't believe I'm going to say this but Melbourne isn't tourist friendly enough. Usually this idea makes me want to vom but a couple of signposts to the tourist attractions would have been nice. If it wasn't for these 2 indonesian girls I was following (in a stalker like fashion) I would have never found the zoo by myself. This is of course the most important part of any new city.

Vegetarian? Do you eat chicken then?

Hey guys I know it has been a while, but my first placement lacks wireless and they pay for internet by the gig I don't really wanna take the piss with it seeing as they are housing me, by this mark as well I am scared to turn on the heating even when they tell me to, I'm a bit of a pussyhole really.

However, Dad has taken the kids to the cinema to see Cars 2 I've been given a bit of peace and internet access so I'm back. Tbh the amount of boring crap READ MORE>>

Day 1: Brunei

As you can tell by the title I haven't actually made it down under yet. Atm I am in Brunei waiting a casual 12 hours for my flight to Melbourne. This airport has about 10 flights a day 4 of which are to Oz, so once the flight to Brisbane left the airport was pretty empty. However I have made a nest in Coffee Bean where everyone speaks English, eggs and toast are £3 and come with high speed wifi. RESULT! However due to the fact that it's only 4:30am in Britain no-one is online to entertain me hence the blog.

Sadly this isn't my view at the airport.
