So today I woke up at sparrow fart (5am) to go on the road to Canberra. It's only 3 hours from Sydney so a good day trip as far as Australia is concerned. Admittedly I didn't have to get up at 5am (we were leaving at 7) but I must have been just too excited and my body wouldn't let me nod off. Like a happy camper I had packed potato salad and cornish pasty for my lunch as well as my travel pillow etc in case I went to sleep (I didn't too rude on my uncle really) and we were on our way.
